This is really disturbing, Shel. I know here in Denver they built "Gitmo on the Platte" to detain any protesters at the DNC. In a way, Denver is the "sister city" of St. Paul this year. We had the DNC; they had the RNC. My feeling: There's not much you can do to fight the police state... at least not without shedding blood. Of course, you can make your voice heard (as you and many others have done)... but it doesn't amount to much when politicians are deaf. The best we can do is continue to speak out -- while doing our best to uphold the law and live peacefully with our neighbors. Personally, I'm hopeful that Jesus will return to establish his Kingdom in the earth. He is the only One who can clean up this mess. Wow. This is really disturbing, Shel.
